CERTIFICATION
The certification of spraying operators was created by Claude Resse, founder of ASQUAPRO, in order to promote shotcrete and improve its quality.
It allows recognition of the technical competence and know-how of certified operators. It is a guarantee of the quality of realization of the projection works carried out. Certified operators are the ambassadors of shotcrete!
In 2006, the certification was supplemented by work management approvals for site supervisors, whose role is also essential for the quality of the shotcrete. These certifications and approvals are intended to be imposed by the contracting authorities and their contractors in the market.
To date, ASQUAPRO has issued certification or accreditation to more than 1,600 people, of which more than 500 are active. Each year, more than 100 candidates take the certification. Certificates and approvals are individual valuations of their holders.
Certificates and approvals are nominative, valid for 5 years and renewable under conditions.
Obtaining a certificate or approval results from an evaluation of:
theoretical skills (MCQ)
practical skills (shotcrete projection on ASQUAPRO test slabs on vertical walls and ceilings),
the volume of work previously carried out or supervised by the candidate.
There are four categories of projection operators:
lance holder by manual dry process
manual wet track spraying-operator
robot pilot for wet spraying
mechanized arm pilot for dry spraying
ASQUAPRO operates independently from training, which can be carried out in various training centers or by the companies themselves.
It delivers or not, a certification or an approval according to the results of the candidates in theoretical and practical tests, and according to their professional experience.
The certificate indicates the level obtained: aspirant, operator, experienced operator or highly qualified operator.
The accreditation can be level 1 (evaluation of theoretical skills) or 2 (evaluation of theoretical and practical skills).
ASQUAPRO is responsible for the following:
scoring reference systems intended for examiners and the certifier
issuance of various certificates for projection operators
issuance of approvals for the conduct of works for the supervisors of the projection site
renewal of certificates and approvals (see terms above).
